This digital resource is for Primary Year 5 and 6 in designing and implementing Mathematics lessons for upper primary school children. Mathematics is a growing body of concepts and knowledge that uses specific language and skills to analyze and interpret the world. The processes of thinking and working mathematically are embedded in the content of this package which involves questioning, reasoning, applying strategies, communicating, and reflecting. The teaching of Mathematics for years 5 and 6 in this resource is organised into five strands. These are Number and Numerations, Algebra, Measurement, Geometry, and Chance and Data.
